The Artistic Elephant
Kibo, a majestic savannah elephant, arrived at the zoo as a rescue after losing his herd to poachers. Initially, he seemed withdrawn and spent most of his time pacing his enclosure. Zookeepers worked tirelessly to engage him, providing enrichment activities such as toys and mud pools. One day, Kibo picked up a stick and began drawing shapes in the dirt. Intrigued, the staff provided him with brushes and non-toxic paints. To their surprise, Kibo started creating vibrant, abstract paintings, carefully maneuvering the brush with his trunk.
